The idea
How this piece came about
The whale is the top tier in crypto slang: whoever holds enough to move the market. That's why it opens this collection — not as a flex, but as the animal the market measures its own scale by.
I drew the motif line by line and set it as a small embroidery on the centre chest — stitched, not printed, so it sits in the fabric instead of on top of it. Black premium hoodie, light thread, under ten centimetres wide. Quiet enough that you have to look twice.
And a detail that's easy to miss: there are fifty whales and a hundred of their counterpart, the shrimp. Fewer whales than shrimp — on the market and on the rack. The edition says what the motif means.
