You're looking at one already

This site came together in a good two weeks, from idea to live, with AI as a partner. It is just the tip: alongside it run two standalone apps, Hive, a messenger with real-time chat, calls, AI, payments and push notifications, and Spirit, an open experiment that works without signing up. Each app has its own accounts and its own database. Built by me with AI agents as a team, running on Cloudflare and distributed worldwide. Websites & shops

From a single-page site to a full e-commerce shop. Cleanly built, fast, runs on any device. Domain, hosting and email setup are part of the deal, if you want.

Hosting & infrastructure

Own servers, reverse proxy with HTTPS, backups, mail aliases, small Raspberry-Pi setups. If “in the cloud” feels too vague - I look after the actual machines.

Automation & AI integration

Letting shop ↔ ads ↔ shipping ↔ logistics talk to each other. MCP servers, AI agents, small dashboards, chat- or phone-bots, automatic email replies, image recognition. If something is costing you time that no human should really be doing - it can probably be automated.

Custom systems & experiments

If no existing tool fits: build your own. Start small, learn, keep building. Web3 and crypto integrations welcome - there's real movement there right now.

Who's doing this

Computer science degree, RWTH Aachen, focus AI & VR. My skill isn't writing code - it's understanding systems, building them cleanly, and above all caring how they feel to use: UI and UX, so a site is clear and pleasant to navigate. With AI agents as co-workers, that's not ten but a thousand times faster today than two years ago. Projects you'd once never have started for cost reasons can go live in a few days now - try things cheaply, double down on what works.

A little timeline, because hardly anyone believes it anymore: I registered the thesis on 24 April 2022 and handed it in on 29 August 2022. When I started, Midjourney wasn't even in open beta yet (that only landed on 12 July 2022) - and ChatGPT? It didn't launch until 30 November 2022, a full three months AFTER I'd submitted. Meaning: there was no one I could ask to “just build me a VR browser.” Every line of Unity code, every tab mechanic and the entire user study - by hand, no Copilot, no prompt. The browser was finished before the world knew what a prompt was.

I built GRID-VR - a VR browser that rethinks the concept of browser tabs in virtual reality (Media Computing Group, Prof. Dr. Jan Borchers). In a user study with 21 participants, compared to the Oculus Quest 2 browser, people retrieved information noticeably faster and solved cognitive tasks faster; the majority preferred GRID-VR. Built in Unity for Meta Quest 2.
